We spoke to founding partner, Clare Phillips to ask her about five years of serving the local community, asking her five questions about the last five years.
Interviewer: “Congratulations Clare, how does it feel to have reached this milestone in business?”
Clare: “Thank you. It feels great to be here. It has been quite a journey, but I am incredibly proud of the team and all we have achieved in establishing ourselves as the best estate agency in the region. We have the highest satisfaction rates in our Google and Trust Pilot reviews and that is really important to us.”
Interviewer: “What have been the high points in your journey so far?”
Clare: “Every time we make a sale and see the happiness on our clients as they achieve their best prices, it gives me great pleasure and a lot of job satisfaction. Moving home can be a stressful time, and we make that journey as easy and profitable as possible for our clients.”
Interviewer: “…and the low points. There must have been some?”
Clare: “I look back at the first lockdown and it must have been the lowest point for us, when we had to close our doors. However, the market bounced back, and it became wonderfully busy as people began to reassess their living arrangements and started to move to achieve the lifestyle they dreamed of. It has been great to be able to help facilitate those dreams.”
Interviewer: “Tell us a funny story, if you can?”
Clare: “I have moved home with my family recently, and believe me, it does not matter how experienced you are with helping other people sell their homes, I was still nervy putting our home on the market. So, I have developed an even greater empathy for our clients. We now have a lovely new home and are delighted with the move. I would say to anyone who is thinking of moving, just do it!
