We have been given the all clear by the authorities to continue working today [Tuesday, 30th June], so our office remains open. We will, of course also continue to have all the measures in place to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible in these uncertain times.
We are, just like all of us in the Leicester area, really disappointed to have a new, local area lockdown imposed on our community. However, we remain optimistic that this new outbreak can be controlled over the coming weeks and we will soon be back on track.
There has been so much activity in the local housing market over the past month, that there are many reasons to be positive about the local economy and the future of the housing market in Leicester. Clare Phillips, Partner at Phillips George released this statement earlier today:
“We are happy that we are open for business, but are obviously disappointed at this set back to our local community. We will always put the health and safety of our clients and staff first. We wish all our clients every success in selling their properties in the coming months and would like to reassure them that our doors are open, and we are ready to respond to the pent-up demand for properties in the region.
Properties have been flying off the shelf since we reopened at the beginning of June. Speak to us now about being ready to get on the market.”
